A simple compositing in Houdini.
An explosion which requires intensive compositing technique to perfect the “LOOK”.

The whole compositing of this simple (non-fluid) explosion only had 3 different passes of smoke (smoke in the front, fiery yellow smoke, smoke at the bottom) and the background building (which was remodeled and textured).
